Orquell

Team

Orquell is a small, senior team. You work directly with the people who scope and build your project.

Zain Khalid

Founder

Zain Khalid founded Orquell and leads every client engagement, from the first scoping call to launch and beyond. He works directly with founders on software, AI and marketing projects, and is the person you speak to when a decision needs to be made.

Before Orquell, Zain spent four years running sales and operations for a retail business, where he learned how customers actually buy and what it takes to keep a business running day to day. He also holds an Erasmus Mundus joint master's degree completed across universities in Germany, France and Italy, which trained him in careful, data-driven problem solving and working across cultures and time zones.

That mix shapes how we work: commercial questions first, careful technical planning second, and clear written communication throughout.

How we staff a project

For each engagement we put together a small team matched to the scope: engineers for the build, a designer for the product and site, and a marketer for search and launch. You meet the people doing the work, and Zain stays your single point of contact, so nothing gets lost between them.

We keep teams small on purpose. Two or three focused people who own a project end to end move faster, and cost less, than a large team passing tickets between departments.

What you can expect

  • One point of contact from scoping to launch.
  • A written scope, costs and decisions you can refer back to.
  • Calls scheduled in your time zone, including US and UK hours.
  • Working demos every two weeks instead of status reports.
  • Code, accounts and domains in your name from day one.

Working with us

Orquell is deliberately small. When you work with us, you work directly with the person who scopes the project, not a rotating account team.
